Kalamitsi Hotel, in addition to the authentic Maniot hospitality it offers, is also distinguished by its numerous and famous facilities & services – the main one being the direct access to a beautiful and quiet beach with small pebbles located just a few meters from our gardens. Guests can relax in the lounge, or enjoy aperitifs and refreshments in the café-bar, or take pleasure in the wonderful breakfast buffet or from lunch and dinner in the wonderful garden restaurant.

Private Beach

Kalamitsi has a small, private pebble beach for the exclusive use of hotel guests, accessed via a cobbled stairway below the olive groove. The beach is located in an enchanting protected cove with crystal clear emerald water, surrounded by high rocks, dense vegetation and cypress trees next to the sea. It is an idyllic setting of supreme serenity, ideal for a quick pre breakfast dip in the sea, or for stretching out all day long on the sunbeds under the sunshades and enjoying the sun and the sea.

Breakfast

Breakfast at Kalamitsi Hotel is the most important meal of the day. We like to treat our guests to a long, leisurely well-balanced buffet breakfast every morning at the restaurant, a breakfast of regional flavors from locally sourced products that will fill you up with energy. Our jams are made from the fruit from our garden, and our eggs are free range. Fresh orange juice, coffee, tea, milk, a choice of breads and cereals, Greek yogurt and local cheeses, omelets, fresh fruits, homemade treats, sweet cakes and savory pies are offered, along with other surprises.

Breakfast is served from 8:00am to 11:00am.

If you need to have an early morning breakfast or take your breakfast on-the-go please ask at the reception the day before.

Lunch & Dinner

It is with pride that we inform you that dining outdoors at Kalamitsi’s garden is a fabulous experience to be enjoyed during your stay. There’s no fixed menu, but just the daily inspiration made from anything fresh found in the garden and the local market. Guests can take their pick from the dishes of the day and sometimes even special requests are possible. Our kitchen uses in-season vegetables and herbs from our garden along with the finest locally-sourced ingredients to create unpretentious dishes that celebrate Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with a contemporary flair. We work with selected local farmers and serve dishes cooked to perfection that reflect our passion for exploring our culinary tradition. Lunch and dinner are served outdoors in the garden restaurant on the shadow of the trees, with fragrant-scented flowers nearby. For cold or rainy days, there is an indoor dinning area.

The restaurant is open to hotel guests only.

Lounge & Bar

A serene, calm oasis, our cosy lounge is arranged around the fireplace and invites our guests to relax in the comfort provided by its leather sofas and the warmth of a flickering fire in cold winter evenings. The lounge extends outdoors on a magnificent, roofed veranda that boasts glorious views over the entire estate, and further out, to the triumphant blue of the sea. It is a special spot to leave all worries and concerns behind, read a book, make new acquaintances, engage in a relaxed conversation or enjoy that necessary night cap before bed.

 

The adjacent appealing little bar serves refreshments at any hour of the day, including coffee, tea and local herbal infusions, fresh juices, small snacks, dessert of the day and ice cream, to classic drinks, cocktails and locally-sourced wines and beers. For guests eager to catch up on the news, the lounge features a satellite TV and internet facilities. The Bar is open all year round, from early in the morning until the last guest leaves.

We provide free WiFi in the rooms and the communal areas for all our guests and visitors.

Parking

Private parking space is complimentary for our guests. There is plentiful space just
outside the reception building and in the back of the hotel wings.
